In a joint operation, Rawalpindi Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) have successfully prevented a potential catastrophe at Adiala Jail.

Three heavily armed terrorists, with links to Afghanistan, were apprehended during the operation. The terrorists were found in possession of blueprints of Adiala Jail, hand grenades, IEDs, and automatic firearms.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s imprisonment in Adiala Jail, serving his sentence for the past 214 days, adds significance to the security measures.

Following the arrests, law enforcement agencies have intensified investigations to neutralize any further threats posed by the terrorists.
