
CTD strikes in Quetta: Eight terrorists killed in Darakhshan
In an intense gunbattle within the Darakhshan district of Quetta, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) dealt a significant blow to extremist elements. The operation resulted in the deaths of eight suspected militants and left three CTD officers injured.
A spokesperson for the CTD confirmed that during the exchange of gunfire between the CTD team and armed terrorists, eight alleged extremists were eliminated.
In addition to these casualties, weapons and ammunition have been recovered from the site. Security forces are currently conducting a thorough search operation in the area.
Sources within the security apparatus stated that the militants involved were linked to an outlawed group. However, authorities continue their investigation into the matter to obtain more details about the individuals and organizations behind this attack.
