Governor Sindh shortens Iran Visit; Businessmen, pilgrims will return safe in phases, says Kamran Tessori

Sindh Governor, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, returned to Karachi on Wednesday from Iran. During his stay in Iran, the Sindh Governor, Kamran Khan Tessori, visited Mashhad. Talking to the media at the airport, the Governor Sindh said that he had a four-day visit to Iran, as soon as the incident came to his knowledge, he returned home.

Governor Tessori said that over 50 businessmen were accompanied during the Iran visit. He assured the families of businessmen, their safe return in phases.

Governor Sindh further said that whenever there is talk of Iran-Pakistan trade, such alleged incidents pitched on grounds. He was of view that the matter would be resolved soon. In response to a question, the Governor Sindh said that lessening the visit, itself a protest.

He also urged that negative sentiments should be avoided to further flare the tensions between the two countries. In response to another question, he said that there are Pakistani pilgrims in Iran, their families have contacted the Governor House, all Pakistani pilgrims in Iran are in good health.
