The Islamabad High Court (IHC) delivered a verdict on Tuesday, dismissing former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s petitions challenging his trial in jail for cases related to Toshakhana and the £190 million scandal.

Media reports indicated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder had filed requests urging the court to move the trials from jail to the judicial complex. However, the IHC rejected these requests concerning the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases against Imran Khan.

The division bench of the Islamabad High Court issued a concise decision on the matter, with detailed reasons to be outlined in the written judgment.

The bench comprised IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri.
