The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has restored the interim bail for Dr Fazeela Abbasi in a money laundering case. The surety bonds required were worth Rs100,000.
The bench, headed by Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, reinstated the bail during a hearing where Dr Fazeela Abbasi and her counsel Naeem Bukhari appeared.
Bukhari argued that despite being unable to appear once due to medical reasons, a three-day certificate was provided. The court still upheld the restoration of bail and directed further proceedings through the trial court.
