Security forces conducted a neutralization operation targeting three terrorists associated with the Indian-sponsored proxy group “Fitna-al-Hindustan” in Panjgur district, Balochistan. The military’s public relations wing reported that the operation was launched following intelligence reports of terrorist activity in the area. During an intense firefight, troops successfully engaged the targets, leading to the deaths of three terrorists: Local Area Commander Farooq (alias Soro), Adeel, and Waseem.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces also recovered a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site. The ISPR stated that the deceased terrorists were allegedly involved in multiple terrorist activities within the region. Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any other suspected Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the area.
The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, commended the security forces for their successful operation against “Fitna-al-Hindustan” terrorists and emphasized Pakistan’s commitment under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision. He reaffirmed that operations to combat terrorism remain a top priority.
President Asif Ali Zardari also praised the security forces, highlighting their essential role in national security. He noted that the government will continue its war against terrorism, underscoring Pakistan’s unwavering resolve.
