Reports suggest that Iraq has closed its airspace in response to the situation, with unconfirmed reports indicating the involvement of over 100 drones expected to strike targets imminently. This attack follows heightened tensions after Israel’s recent elimination of a senior Iranian officer in Damascus, prompting anticipation of retaliatory measures from Tehran.
“The evil regime will be punished.” Iran’s supreme leader said in an official statement.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Defense Minister also issued a statement: “Any country that opens its airspace or territory for Israel to attack Iran, will receive a strong response from us.”
