Despite the finale of ‘Ishq Murshid’ airing, fans are in for a treat as writer Abdul Khaliq Khan has disclosed plans for not one, but two sequels to the beloved Pakistani drama.

Although the last episode, which aired yesterday, garnered a mixed response from fans, the drama has undeniably captured immense viewership both on television and across social media platforms since its debut on October 8, 2023.

Adding to the excitement, the final episode was screened in theaters, drawing in the drama’s cast, industry actors, and a sizable audience.

In a recent interview, Khan ignited anticipation by sharing his vision for the upcoming chapters in the ‘Ishq Murshid’ saga, sparking a frenzy among fans.

The first sequel, Khan unveiled, will delve into the protagonist’s struggles to bring happiness to his loved ones. Teasing further, he hinted at an even grander narrative for the second sequel, where the protagonist will prioritize his devotion to Almighty Allah over worldly relationships.
