The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, on Tuesday to explore deeper cooperation in science, education, and technology.
During the meeting, the Ambassador revealed that Kazakhstan will soon formally join the TAPI gas pipeline project, a key step in regional energy connectivity involving Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
Minister Magsi said the two countries are preparing to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at boosting collaboration in the education sector.
The Kazakh envoy also expressed interest in launching a joint research centre at NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology) in Islamabad.
