Mobilink Bank Powers Girls’ Digital Education by Solarizing Zindagi Trust’s Digital Arts Lab in Karachi

Islamabad – December 30, 2025: Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, Mobilink Bank, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative has strengthened access to uninterrupted digital education by solarizing the Digital Arts Lab operated by Zindagi Trust at Khatoon-e-Pakistan Government Girls Secondary School, Karachi. The initiative reflects Mobilink Bank’s proactive commitment to enabling girls’ access to uninterrupted digital and creative education through sustainable energy solutions, advancing the Bank’s broader vision of becoming a leading bank for small businesses that deepens financial inclusion for women, while simultaneously contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.

This project ensures reliable access to digital and creative learning for approximately 320 students from grades 6 to 8, while being designed to benefit all future cohorts enrolled in the Digital Arts Lab. The intervention aligns with Mobilink Bank’s commitment to advancing women’s inclusion through sustainable solutions, while directly supporting Zindagi Trust’s broader vision of transforming public education by building future-ready learning environments that enable girls to access high-quality digital, creative, and critical thinking skills, regardless of infrastructure limitations.

Commenting on the initiative, Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, said: “Access to uninterrupted, sustainable energy is critical for meaningful digital learning. Through this collaboration with Zindagi Trust, Mobilink Bank is addressing a pressing national challenge while enabling young girls to learn, create, and thrive in a technology-driven world.”

Zindagi Trust emphasized that the project reflects its belief that meaningful education reform requires both pedagogical innovation and enabling infrastructure. By integrating renewable energy into technology-driven learning spaces, the Trust continues its work of ensuring that public school students are not left behind in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Through this initiative, Mobilink Bank has created a sustainable solution that strengthens learning environments for current students while securing long-term benefits for generations to come at Khatoon-e-Pakistan Government Girls Secondary School.
