Sindh government has made the preemptive decision to cancel all evening classes in schools for tomorrow (Friday), as announced on Thursday.
The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department issued a notification stating that both private and public evening shift schools will remain closed to ensure the safety of students and staff.With the meteorological department forecasting inclement weather in the metropolis, the Sindh government has declared a rain emergency across the province.
Consequently, it has been decided that offices in Karachi will operate for only half a day on Friday.

Taking to social media platform X, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui elaborated that the half-day operation of offices is a precautionary measure aimed at minimizing potential risks. He urged citizens to refrain from unnecessary travel to mitigate any inconvenience that may arise.
