Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest has sparked widespread curiosity about the details behind his detention. As headlines dominated earlier today, a report by The Telegraph revealed an intricate operation that led to this critical moment. Senior officers from Thames Valley Police coordinated with colleagues from Norfolk Constabulary in executing this “confidential operation.”

The dispatch involved over 20 officers who traveled 130 miles from Kidlington’s police headquarters in Oxfordshire to the secluded King’s Sandringham Estate near Wolverton, a village on the estate. At approximately 8 am, vehicles arrived at Wood Farm.

According to an anonymous former officer familiar with the operation, only around a dozen of the officers knew the exact details until shortly before they were briefed. “The team would have simply been told to report to their station early in the morning,” he explained. They might have even handed over their mobile phones before receiving more specific instructions about where to go and what actions to take.

For those unfamiliar with Charles’s stance on this matter, he has expressed deep concern regarding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s misconduct allegations in public office. “I have learned with the deepest concern,” he said. “What now follows is a full, fair, and proper process by which this issue will be investigated appropriately.” He emphasized that his family’s duty and service to the public remains constant.

The monarch further stated, “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.” As investigations continue, Charles advised, “As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”
