Pakistani Television Legend Khalid Hafeez Khan Passes Away at 64, Known for Iconic Role in ‘Guest House’

Pakistani television actor Khalid Hafeez passed away early Monday morning at 1:30 AM in Islamabad. Widely recognized for his role as Mr. Shamim in the PTV drama series Guest House, which remains one of the channel’s most popular productions, Hafeez had a prolific career spanning various projects and roles.

He appeared in several television shows such as Silsilay, and also starred in lengthy plays including Nishan-e-Haider: Captain Mohammad Sarwar Shaheed. Based in Islamabad with his family, Hafeez often graced interviews featuring co-actor Afzal Khan.

The news of his passing was announced by Afzal Khan on Instagram, alongside co-stars Bushra Ansari and Nauman Masood. Tributes from fans and colleagues highlighted his significant contributions to television and the profound impact of his work on a generation who grew up watching him.
