Sarah Ferguson’s attempts to influence Prince William have escalated as he continues his stance against the former Duchess of York. According to insider reports from the United States, Sarah has attempted to dredge up past emotional issues in a bid to sway the Prince of Wales’ decision regarding their relationship.
The Prince has already made it clear that he will not allow Ferguson any closer to the royal family following her recent loss of her titles and residence due to Andrew’s links with Jeffrey Epstein. A close source suggests Sarah insists she was unaware of the full extent of her ex-husband’s connections, feeling unfairly judged for past associations.
Sarah is now pushing for a face-to-face meeting with Prince William to change his mind. She claims she felt naïve when Andrew revealed these details and feels unjustly penalized for mistakes she believes were not as grave as implied by the situation. “I was never at any depraved sex parties,” Sarah asserts, adding that she feels unfairly associated with Andrew’s actions.
Despite her requests, a call or meeting between them appears unlikely to sway William’s decision. According to an insider, the Prince is resolute in cutting ties and has already initiated these steps. Ferguson remains in denial of this decision, finding it hard to accept such drastic measures so quickly.
Sarah maintains a special bond with the royal family, having been there for Prince William after his mother’s passing. However, her attempts at reconciliation seem futile given the severity of her past association with Andrew and her recent loss of status. The only course of action she sees is distancing herself from Ferguson entirely to protect the monarchy.
