Wafaqi Mohtasib Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi has called on all relevant departments to intensify their efforts to promptly address the issues faced by Overseas Pakistanis. He has instructed NADRA to establish offices in Bahrain and Baghdad and directed the Airport Security Force (ASF) to grant entry passes to officials of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) at the One Window Facilitation Desks.

Highlighting the significant contribution of Overseas Pakistanis to the national economy, Mr. Qureshi emphasized their role as a major source of foreign exchange and stressed the need for comprehensive support. His directives came following a report detailing the challenges encountered by Overseas Pakistanis. The Secretary of the Wafaqi Mohtasib Office, Mr. Afzal Latif, chaired a meeting with senior officials from various ministries and departments to discuss strategies to enhance service delivery for Overseas Pakistanis.

During the meeting, the Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis presented a detailed overview of the issues they face. It was noted that over 70,000 complaints have been addressed so far this year.

The office of the Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, a dedicated branch within the Wafaqi Mohtasib’s office, continues to provide a platform for Overseas Pakistanis to lodge complaints regarding any problems or injustices they encounter.
