The news quickly reached the Senate, prompting the opposition to stage a walk-out in protest. PTI leader Shibli Faraz condemned the attack, highlighting Hassan’s role as a spokesman for the country’s largest political party.
According to reports from Headline PK, the attack was carried out by a group of 5-6 individuals, including transgender people. The assailants targeted Hassan’s face, causing significant bleeding.
