The Punjab government has reportedly approved the purchase of luxury vehicles for parliamentary secretaries of the PML-N, according to insider sources.
The fleet, consisting of 76 cars, will come at a hefty cost of Rs. 61.25 million. Sources indicate that 22 vehicles, each priced between Rs. 22-29 million, will be allocated for the parliamentary secretaries, while 15 additional vehicles will be acquired for the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) at a cost of Rs. 9.96 million each.
The request for these vehicles was reportedly made by Punjab’s Additional Chief Secretary.
