Rain and Thunderstorms Forecasted for Karachi from Tonight

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi from the night of April 17th through April 18th.

According to the forecast, a series of westerly winds entering Balochistan tonight will bring rain to several districts in Sindh tomorrow, including Jamshoro, Nowsherofroz, Dadu, Thatta, Sajawal, and Badin.

In Karachi, the forecast suggests the likelihood of light to moderate rainfall, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours during this period.

Furthermore, rain is predicted in Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sukkur, and Larkana on April 18th and 19th.

Meteorological analyst Jawad Memon has indicated that this weather system is more robust than the previous one, with a projected rainfall coverage of over 90 percent in Balochistan. Southern areas may experience heavy rainfall, and there is also a possibility of hailstorms in Balochistan starting from the evening of April 17th.
