Saudi Arabia’s First Male Robot Accused of Harassing Female Reporter

Saudi Arabia’s introduction of its first male humanoid robot has sparked controversy after it was accused of “harassing” a female reporter during an event, as reported by Times Now.

The incident occurred at the DeepFest event held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center from March 4 to March 7. In a viral video, the robot can be seen inappropriately attempting to touch a female news reporter who was discussing its features.

Dressed in traditional Saudi attire, the robot interacted with visitors, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s advancements in artificial intelligence (AI).

“I am the first Saudi robot in the form of a man. Manufactured and developed here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I represent a national endeavor showcasing our AI achievements. Together, we usher in a new era of innovation,” said the robot.
