Secretary Information Sindh Evaluates Press Registration Act Progress

Secretary Information Nadeem ur Rehman Memon convened a meeting on Monday to evaluate the progress of the draft document for the Sindh Press, Newspapers, News Agencies, and Book Registration Act.

The meeting included key officials from the Information Department, such as Director General (PRs) Muhammad Saleem Khan, Director Information (P&D) Muizzuddeen Peerzada, Director Information (Advt) Muhammad Yousuf Kabooro, and others, including directors specializing in social media, legal affairs, publications, electronic media, and press information.

Discussions focused on streamlining the legislative process and enhancing regulatory frameworks for the media sector in Sindh, emphasizing the need for effective oversight and support for media operations within the province.
