This collaboration was confirmed during a meeting between AKU President Suleman Shahab-ud-Din and Minister of Universities and Boards Muhammad Ali Malkani.

The meeting also included AKU Advisor and former Ambassador Jamil Khan, Secretary of Universities and Boards Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Director of Planning and Development Zulfiqar Ali Kandhro, and other officials.

Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani praised the contributions of His Highness Prince Aga Khan and his ancestors in promoting social development through Agha Khan University and other agencies within the Agha Khan Development Network. He acknowledged the educational and technical prowess of the Agha Khan Educational Board and sought their expertise to enhance the functionality of Sindh’s educational boards.

AKU President Suleman Shahab-ud-Din agreed to assist in the reformation efforts, mirroring the structure of the Agha Khan Educational Board.

A comprehensive strategy meeting will be scheduled to detail the reformation of Sindh’s examination system. Discussions also covered other mutual interests, particularly issues related to technical and vocational education.

Minister Malkani emphasized the need for a joint public-private partnership strategy, which received agreement from President Shahab-ud-Din.

The AKU President assured full support for the reform of educational boards and the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in the province. The meeting concluded with an exchange of cultural gifts among the distinguished guests.
