Legendary Sufi singer Abida Parveen has been proudly featured by Spotify on a digital billboard at Times Square, New York, as not only the EQUAL Pakistan Ambassador of August, but also as the EQUAL Global ambassador marking a significant moment for South Asian representation on the global stage.

Spotify’s EQUAL is dedicated to promoting women artists by providing them with a platform that amplifies their voices. This tribute to Abida Parveen coincides with South Asian Heritage Month, during which Spotify aims to spotlight her as a distinguished South Asian artist who has made a lasting impact on the world of music.
