
In a special ceremony held in Colombo on Sunday, Sri Lanka Cricket honored Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The tribute was aimed at recognizing his significant contributions to the sport. At the event, Naqvi met with Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva and other senior officials from both boards.
During their meeting, the two cricket associations reaffirmed their commitment to promoting the game and fostering increased cooperation. Sunil Kumar Gamage, the Sri Lankan Sports Minister, Ashley de Silva, CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and PCB representatives all attended this important gathering.
Naqvi expressed his gratitude for Sri Lanka Cricket’s warm hospitality during his visit. “Cricket is a means to enhance love and bond between nations,” he said. “I am deeply grateful to Sri Lanka Cricket for their kindness.”
