11 Dead, 7 Injured in Swat Motorway Bus-Coach Collision Near Mardan

At least 11 passengers were killed and seven others seriously injured in an accident on Monday near Ismaila interchange on the Swat Motorway in Mardan. The bodies and injured passengers were shifted to Mardan Medical Complex for treatment.

The victims belonged to different districts, according to sources. Rescue teams reached the site immediately after the accident, as reported by the Motorway Police.

Preliminary investigations suggested that the crash occurred due to negligence of the coach driver, who allegedly rammed into a bus parked along the road from behind.
