ISPR announced on Wednesday that 34 terrorists were eliminated in joint operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan. Over the past few days, security forces conducted high-tempo, intelligence-driven strikes to dismantle Indian proxy groups Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.

Fitna al Khwarij denotes Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan-affiliated terrorists, while Fitna al Hindustan represents Bannu-based militant organizations. In a statement, ISPR confirmed that on February 24th, four separate engagements in KP’s North Waziristan killed 13 terrorists affiliated with Fitna Al Khwarij.

The counter-terrorism efforts in KP continued as troops engaged another group of fitna al khwarij infiltrating through the Pak-Afghan border. The operation resulted in one kharji’s death, identified as an Afghan national. Security forces also carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat district, which killed three militants after a brief exchange.

In Narmi Khel of KP’s Bannu district, 10 terrorists were neutralized. In North Waziristan’s Mir Ali, 12 were eliminated. Additionally, troops conducted an IBO in Sambaza, Balochistan’s Zhob district, eliminating eight fitna al hindustan militants.

Weapons and ammunition seized from the dead Indian-sponsored terrorists further highlighted their involvement in various terror activities. ISPR emphasized that security forces remain resolute against terrorism, with sanitization operations ongoing to eliminate remaining threats. Security agencies pledged continued full-pelt action against terrorism.

Just a few days prior, 9 terrorists were killed during IBOs, including one suicide bomber, in Balochistan and KP.
