‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Season 2 Production Hit by Unexpected Storm in Gran Canaria

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was filming season two on Gran Canaria when heavy rain forced an early end to production.

The torrential downpour caused flooding that submerged parts of the set, rendering shooting impossible.

Set in the drought-stricken Reach kingdom of Westeros, the season’s story revolves around Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg navigating political intrigue during a devastating drought.

Despite the weather setbacks, filming was moved to mainland Spain before the project was completed for release in 2027.
