Acting President Gilani Meets World Dialogue Forum CEO

Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday met Ghazanfar Hashmi, President and Chief Executive Officer of the World Dialogue Forum, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

During the meeting, Mr Hashmi briefed the acting president on the objectives and ongoing initiatives of the World Dialogue Forum. He informed him that the Forum’s fourth annual international conference is scheduled to take place in Washington, DC in April this year.

According to the briefing, the conference will focus on parliamentary cooperation, trade, economic connectivity, and broader bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States. Mr Hashmi also extended an invitation to the acting president to attend the event.

Acting President Gilani appreciated the Forum’s efforts in fostering global dialogue, mutual understanding, and international cooperation, and lauded its role in promoting constructive engagement among nations.
