Admiral Naveed Ashraf Urges Maritime Preparedness at Navy Conference in Islamabad

Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Naval Chief, emphasized maintaining combat readiness at the concluded Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy in Islamabad. The conference, attended by Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders, reviewed operational preparedness amid regional maritime security threats including freedom of navigation issues.

Addressing emerging challenges such as potential disruption to vital Sea Lines of Communication and volatile situations across strategic choke-points, Admiral Ashraf stressed the importance of acquiring advanced technologies for Pakistan Navy.

The forum also commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, honoring sacrifices made during the May 2025 conflict. Admiral Ashraf highlighted this historic victory as a testament to national unity and resolve against external aggression.

Discussions focused on aligning naval priorities with evolving regional security imperatives and charting clear courses for operations preparedness across multiple domains of naval warfare.
