Imprisoned PTI Founder’s Sister Expresses Health Concerns

Aleema Khanum, sister of incarcerated PTI founder Imran Khan, expressed her worries over his deteriorating health on Tuesday. She demanded his transfer to Shifa International Hospital in the presence of his family.

Khanum stated that if one eye of the PTI leader has been affected, the other could also be at risk. She added that Imran Khan told Salman Safdar his eye showed improvement after the first injection but further injections have not helped.

The sister further said that Imran Khan can no longer see people sitting close to him and his health condition is worsening each day.

Special Assistant for Information in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shafi Jan, criticized the transfer of Imran Khan to a hospital at night, stating it violates jail manual. She added that PTI founder should be moved to Shifa International Hospital.
