Fast bowler Mohammed Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim are set to join the 29-member Pakistani squad at Abbottabad’s Kakul training camp, established in collaboration with the Pakistan Army.
The training camp, scheduled to commence on March 26 and continue until April 8, aims to focus on team building and enhance the physical and mental strength of the players to prepare them for upcoming challenges.
Experienced trainers and coaches will supervise the players’ training regime, tailored to elevate their fitness levels, agility, leadership, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field.
The announcement follows the reorganization of the national selection committee, comprising seven members, including former cricketers Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq, and Asad Shafiq, along with the head coach, captain, and an analyst.
Players attending the fitness camp include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali, and others.
