Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson Receive Disney Legends Honors

Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson were announced as recipients of the Disney Legends Award for 2026. The honor was given to those artists who have made a significant impact on the company, including contributions from Anne’s roles in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ series and Dwayne’s involvement in ‘Moana.’

Other recipients include Jerry Bruckheimer, Chris Berman, Susan Egan, Bob Iger, Eric Goldberg, Kim Irvine, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonas Brothers, and Alan Tudyk. New Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro stated that the award ceremony will celebrate “the legacy of the extraordinary people whose creativity has shaped Disney into what it is today.”

The event will take place on August 16 in California, with an emphasis on recognizing the impact of these legends alongside their dedicated fans.
