Avan Jogia has opened up about his partnership with fiancée Halsey, sharing candid insights into their relationship and personal lives during a dynamic period in his career.
In an interview with People Magazine, Avan addressed the challenges he faced while starring alongside Dove Cameron in “56 Days,” a demanding project. He expressed how his partner’s support played a significant role in navigating through one of the most complex roles in his acting repertoire. The actor remarked, “Generally speaking, there are foundational aspects to your life as an actor — and I know this is true for Dove and me — which include understanding what’s sacred, normal, and essential within our core. These things help ground us amidst the highs and lows of our craft.”
Avan elaborated further about Halsey’s role in his personal journey, emphasizing that having her by his side to discuss the frustrations of creativity and the struggles inherent in creative endeavors is immensely enriching. He said, “It’s such a joy having someone who understands my work; it really completes the circle for me as an artist. It’s the best thing.”
When asked about wedding plans with Halsey, Avan clarified that they were not rushing into any specific timeline or commitments. Instead, he noted their happiness in enjoying each stage of their lives without a predetermined schedule. He stated, “I think we’re not in any rush to do anything specific at any specific timeline other than our own. We’re really lucky. We get to enjoy each stage of our lives.”
Avan added with enthusiasm, “I don’t know; rushing isn’t something I’m interested in. We just aren’t moving in any one space other than our own, and everything is happening all the time. It’s so busy for us! But yes, absolutely. I am so excited about it. It’s going to be great.”
The actor’s words reflect a balanced view of both their professional growth and personal well-being during this pivotal phase of their relationship.
