
Balochistan Government Set to Unveil Surplus Budget
The Balochistan government is set to present its budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year during the third week of June, provincial finance officials have confirmed. The upcoming budget is expected to remain surplus and tax-free, continuing the province’s recent fiscal policy approach.
Total budget outlay is projected at around Rs1.2 trillion. Education sector will receive the largest allocation with approximately Rs150 billion proposed for educational development and related expenditures. Officials also indicated that salaries of government employees are likely to be increased in line with the federal government’s pay raise policy.
