On Wednesday, David and Victoria Beckham sent a heartfelt message to their estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham, on his 27th birthday via Instagram.
David posted two throwback photos of himself with Brooklyn from when he was younger. In one image, they are seen grinning together in the pool, while a young Brooklyn beams beside them. “Happy Birthday Bust,” David wrote affectionately, adding a heartfelt, “We love you x.” He then tagged his wife Victoria.
Victoria shared her own photo, depicting herself with an infant Brooklyn. She captioned her post simply but lovingly: “Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much.”
These messages came after Brooklyn recently slammed his parents through Instagram Stories, describing the situation as a battle against public scrutiny and lies spread by them and their team.
“He has been silent for years and has made every effort to keep these matters private,” Brooklyn stated. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to press, leaving me no choice but to speak up for myself and reveal some of the falsehoods that have been circulated.”
Brooklyn then added, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I am standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” The Instagram post was a powerful testament to Brooklyn’s stance during this tumultuous period.
This latest interaction between David and Victoria follows ongoing public feuds and strained relationships that have seen them each taking separate paths, leaving their child caught in the middle of these familial squabbles.
