
Ryan Garcia to Face Conor Benn for WBC Welterweight Title on September 12th
Ryan Garcia announced his upcoming opponent, Conor Benn, during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. When asked about his challenger, Garcia stated he was “from the other side.”
Clarifying further, Garcia said, “No, he’s from across the pond… We’ll be ready to go get him,” adding that the fight has a personal touch.
Ryan Garcia currently holds the WBC welterweight title after defeating Mario Barrios in February 2026. Conor Benn, a British professional boxer and son of former world champion Nigel Benn, is set to face Garcia on September 12th.
