BIEK enrollment form deadlines extended

Karachi Board of Intermediate Education has announced an extension for submitting enrollment forms for private institutions’ intermediate first-year students appearing in the 2025 annual exams.

Forms can now be submitted with a late fee from Thursday, January 9, to Friday, January 24, 2025. Students who missed the earlier deadline can now submit their forms through their educational institutions with a late fee of Rs. 1,000 (total fee: Rs. 3,100). Institutions must verify the forms at the relevant Inter Board section and submit them at Room No. 4 (Accounts Section) of the Board office on January 28 and 29, 2025.

A further extension allows form submissions from January 30 to February 14, 2025, with a late fee of Rs. 2,000 (total fee: Rs. 4,100).

Guidelines for Students:

  • Enrollment forms must be completed online at portal.
  • Provide all necessary details, including matriculation records, a passport-sized photo with a blue background, and relevant documents.
  • Students who passed matriculation from a board other than Karachi must upload a migration certificate and board change permission.
  • G.C.E. (O Level) students need to submit an equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.

Responsibilities of Educational Institutions:

  • Verify students’ forms and documents, ensuring accuracy in details like the institution’s name, group, photo, and attached documents.
  • Download the students’ list with QR codes from the web portal, sign them, and submit them with the required fee vouchers.
  • Provide a list of students with provisional admissions and reasons for their provisional status to the board.
