A low-intensity bomb detonated near a railway station in Khairpur district’s Tando Masti area at night, derailing a freight train bound for Karachi. No casualties were reported.

The Pakistan Railways halted all scheduled trains passing through the region as a precautionary measure. In response to this incident, IGP Javed Alam Odho of Sindh took note and directed DIG Sukkur to initiate an immediate manhunt for the perpetrators alongside conducting security checks across other sections of the track with assistance from Border Security Force (BDS).

In line with ongoing international and national concerns, Hyderabad police have raised their alert level.

This development highlights the heightened vigilance required in critical areas to mitigate potential threats.
