Islamabad Authorities Reopen Markets and Shops

Authorities in Islamabad have granted permission for business centers across most parts of the federal capital to resume normal activities. Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon confirmed this on Sunday.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Memon clarified that restrictions will remain along specific routes on the Expressway. The earlier decision to close markets was due to heightened security measures for visiting foreign dignitaries in the city. With the situation stabilizing, authorities have eased restrictions, allowing commercial activity to return to normal.
