
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Kurram during Eidul Fitr to spend time with troops. He vowed that Pakistan would not tolerate cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan, praising the valor and operational successes of the troops.

The Field Marshal lauded the valour and spirit of the Jawans during Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, aimed at dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring lasting peace in border regions. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing that Afghan soil must not be used by hostile elements for activities against Pakistan.
Field Marshal acknowledged the formations’ tireless efforts, attributing operational successes to the supreme sacrifices of martyrs and the unwavering resolve of officers and soldiers dedicated to national security. Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Corps Commander Peshawar.
