China FM to Chair UN Security Council Meeting in US, Canada Visit

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Visit New York

Wang Yi will travel to New York and chair a high-level meeting of the UN Security Council on May 26. During his visit, he will meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and foreign ministers from relevant countries.

The Chinese foreign ministry stated that Wang Yi will also visit Canada from May 28-30 at the invitation of his Canadian counterpart.
