WEB DESK: The Cleveland Browns have hired Todd Monken as their new head coach following months of searching for a successor to Kevin Stefanski, who was fired after the 2025 season. Multiple reports indicate that Monken, the former offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, will take over the leadership role.
Monken previously served as the Browns’ offensive coordinator in 2019 and held the same position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2016 to 2017. He has spent 26 years of his 37-year coaching career at the college level. The 59-year-old is well-known in NFL circles for his three seasons as Baltimore’s offensive coordinator, during which the Ravens boasted one of the most versatile and dangerous offenses in the league, particularly in 2023-24.
This will mark Monken’s first role as an NFL head coach, despite his prior experience as an NFL offensive coordinator and a long, successful coaching career at the college level. The Browns are hiring Todd Monken from The Insiders.
