Karachi Judicial Magistrate South Court accepted jail administration’s plea to exempt Anmol Pinky, known as the alleged drug ‘queen’, from appearing in person during proceedings against her.

The hearing was for a drug recovery case registered against Anmol Pinky. Police had requested video presentation of the accused due to concerns over law and order risks associated with her physical appearance.

Court observed that physical custody is not required until challan submission, at which point she will be produced as summoned by the court.

Police have also sought permission to access bank accounts of co-accused in the case. An application for this has been filed in Sessions Court by the investigating officer.
