Cristiano Ronaldo Outshines Luka Modric in World Cup Face-Off Analysis

Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric have been teammates over the years, but their paths diverged when they found themselves on opposing teams this World Cup. According to data from Heavy, Ronaldo has won 9 out of 10 matches against Modric.

This dominance leaves Modric without a victory in his career, which is particularly poignant as it could be his last appearance at the tournament. Portugal’s Vitinha expressed his admiration for both players and wished Modric well ahead of their clash.

Modric and Ronaldo shared four Champions League titles during their six-year stint together at Real Madrid.
