The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi has recommended the dismissal of two of its officials, Constable Ali Qureshi and Assistant Sub-Inspector Kafeel Awan, over alleged contacts with drug queen Anmol alias Pinky.

Sources stated that a few years ago, Kafeel Awan had arrested one of Pinky’s motorcycle riders associated with her drug network, leading to an increase in his contact with the drug queen.

The inquiry report against both officials has been completed and last month, they were taken into custody and their statements formally recorded. Forensic examinations of their mobile phones and review of their bank accounts were also part of the investigation.
