Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Multilateralism Commitment to Global Governance Meeting with Wang Yi

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar spoke at the Group of Friends on Global Governance meeting in New York, chaired by Wang Yi, China’s Foreign Minister.

The discussion revolved around “Reforming and Improving Global Governance, Working Together to Address Global Challenges.”

Dar expressed strong support for China’s Global Governance Initiative. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to multilateralism and the importance of reforming global governance structures.

He emphasized the centrality of the United Nations in the international system. Dar also stated that Pakistan fully supports President Xi Jinping’s Global Governance Initiative, praising China’s leadership commitment to strengthening the global multilateral system.
