Denise Jonas, mother of Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas, revealed in an upcoming episode of Got It From My Momma podcast that she suffered a stroke recently.

She described the type of stroke as basal ganglia, which affected her cognitive thinking, speech, reasoning. She mentioned instances where lack of sleep or hunger made it difficult for her to think clearly and remember things.

Prior to this diagnosis, Denise Jonas had experienced symptoms including high blood pressure, difficulty with speech, and hiccups. These were often overlooked but she found out that hiccups are a common symptom in women suffering from strokes.

Despite the health scare, Denise Jonas sees it as a gift from God, which has made her more appreciative of life.
