‘Euphoria’ Cast Reacts to Season 3 Anticipation Amid Missing Star

Euphoria’s third season is highly anticipated this year. The main cast returns, but one key star is absent – Barbie Ferreira as Kate Hernandez.

Ferreira rejoined the show in 2022 but left abruptly later that year. She expressed her emotional goodbye on Instagram, saying she hoped fans saw themselves in her character and felt her love for it.

Now, Ferreira discusses her exit in an interview with Deadline. She says Euphoria didn’t allow her to showcase her full acting range and was diminishing over time.

She prioritized creativity and fulfillment over stardom, stating that as long as she’s creatively fulfilled, that’s what matters most. After leaving Euphoria, Ferreira has been in several projects, including the upcoming romantic comedy Mile End Kicks, set to release on April 17.
