French actress Eva Green reportedly injured her leg while filming near Dublin for Wednesday’s third season. The 45-year-old was rushed to a hospital after the accident, causing production to halt temporarily as she received medical attention.
Green is set to play Aunt Ophelia in the upcoming season, adding a darker layer to the supernatural drama. Her casting marks another collaboration with Tim Burton, following their work on Dark Shadows, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and Dumbo.
The actress joins an impressive lineup of new additions for season three, including Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, and Winona Ryder. Returning stars include Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, and Joanna Lumley.
