The game began goalless until Dani Olmo broke Barça’s deadlock with a powerful shot in the 52nd minute. Just five minutes later, Raphinha doubled the lead with an expert finish in the 57th minute. Lamine Yamal concluded the scoring in the 73rd minute, putting the result beyond doubt.
Barcelona maintained control over the match, registering 18 shots with 7 on target against Oviedo’s 10 and 4 on target. The home side dominated possession at 73%, completing 622 passes at a rate of 90%. In contrast, Real Oviedo struggled to contain Barcelona’s tempo and pressing, managing only 27% possession with 239 passes.
Barcelona committed 17 fouls and received two yellow cards, while they were booked once. Offside decisions favored Barcelona (3) over Oviedo (5).
The victory further solidified Barça’s position near the top of the La Liga table, pressuring league leaders Real Madrid for a second consecutive match. Meanwhile, Real Oviedo remained mired in the lower half of the standings.
