The federal government has launched a new “no bag policy” for primary schools in Islamabad, set to begin on August 1. Under this initiative, students will no longer need to bring school bags to class.
Instead, storage cabinets will be provided in classrooms for students to keep their textbooks and other materials. This policy aims to alleviate the burden on young students of carrying heavy school bags.
